i understand how to get poles and zeros of the transfer function. But how did they get that each zero contributes +20db and each pole contributes -20db. is this in the reference manual anywhere?

Any one know how to explain the solution a little better. The transfer function T(s)= Y(s)/X(s) Output/input. V(s)/I(s), But then what... I'm not getting this one..
