    Table set up at exam

Thanks Szar for your thoughts.  Because I don't understand the concern and I feel like I am in the twilight zone right now, I looked up what NCEES states in their requirements "The Candidate Agreement for Pencil and Paper Exams".   They state "Examinees may not place crates, boxes, or bookends...

    Table set up at exam

Yes it was stacked just like that for the test.  I wouldn't understand why a testing facility would have an issue with this.  I had it set up directly to the left of my chair with the splines facing me.  If they allow plastic tubs and suitcases, they should allow this too.

    Table set up at exam

An option that worked for me was to use wood crates as portable bookshelves.  I used them for studying and during exam day.

    April 2018 SE Exam Results

If you had unfavorable results, please just stick with it. The first 3 times I tried self study and failed.  The last time, I took EET and that really helped. But, you have to be disciplined and do their schedule, homework & quizzes.

    April 2018 SE Exam Results

Finally passed lateral buildings. 4th time is a charm! Hang in there and stick with it for those who need to retake. I have a wife and children too, so I know how hard that is on all.

    SE Exam April 13, 14

Great.....only 7.5 weeks left of realizing (in the shower) that I forgot to do certain things on the afternoon questions..... I felt OK directly after the lateral exam, but now I am questioning everything! Good luck to everyone!

    Good luck, everyone!

Thanks.  Buildings....I felt horrible....still feel like they accidentally graded someone else's.  My chicken scratch was terrible.  I was surprised how much I had to rush.   If you feel semi ok about it and you were good with time, you most likely did well.  Good luck.

    Good luck, everyone!

I took both components last October for the first time and passed only the vertical.  My opinion is that this recent exam's lateral afternoon was even more difficult.  I understand your frustration, but we just have learn from the exam and do it again if needed.

Collecting Codes based on April 2015

Not sure if this helps anyone, but I emailed AASHTO Bookstore regarding purchasing the 7th edition Bridge Design Specifications for the SE exam and this is what they sent me: Yes, you can get the discounted SE exam edition here:https://bookstore.transportation.org/item_details.aspx?ID=1541...

Stormwater filtering practice existing grade slope restriction?

We are in a very regulated area (NYC reservoir watershed) and this is new construction. There are specific practices allowed for meeting water quality requirements.

Stormwater filtering practice existing grade slope restriction?

Will do. I was obsessively on this site waiting for the results, but kind of dropped off once I passed. Thanks again.

Stormwater filtering practice existing grade slope restriction?

I really appreciate your response and feedback. 6% seems very excessive to me. We are allowed to place an infiltration system on up to 15% (existing slopes) in NY. I believe they are incorrectly interpreting the NYSDEC regs. In regard to the dam condition, we could propose a pond liner and a...

Stormwater filtering practice existing grade slope restriction?

I will have to impound about 4' of water for head. Their slope requirement doesn't differentiate between cut or fill. I also had to propose a detention basin adjacent to it for mitigating peak flows. They were not concerned about that minor embankment. I would like to load a picture, but...

Stormwater filtering practice existing grade slope restriction?

I have a proposed 5 lot subdivision in NY and it is a difficult site that needs stormwater approvals/permits from multiple agencies. The terrain is steep, which makes meeting water quality and runoff reduction requirements difficult. I have to follow the NYSDEC stormwater manual. I proposed...

    Connecticut Results - Oct. 2012

The Connecticut exam registration on the NCEES website states the following: Results When results have been released (typically 8–10 weeks after the exam) and validated, NCEES will send an email informing you that your result can be accessed through your My NCEES account. PCS will notify you...

    NJ PE Results

All states that utilize Professional Credit Services (CT, MD, MA, NJ, PA, VA, WI) for PE exam have not been released. My guess is they are holding us up.
