    Application Timeline for PE

    I took the exam in New York. From what I hear, they are very strict with their deadlines for registering. The deadline for the October 2012 exam was May 2012. I wouldn't have 4 years until around July (just like you). I went ahead and submitted my experience and paid the licensure fee anyway...

    Passed the PE Power Exam!

    Can't comment on the Wildi book, but everyone on these boards raves about it. In its' absence I used Electric Machinery Fundamentals by Chapman, which is a decent substitute as I was able to find alot of useful formulas during the exam.

    Natgas does your state issue a license number immediately? I have to wait a month or so for some bs paperwork :(
