For Geotech PM you would need NAVFAC manual for some questions. I didnot use them either while studying but tabbed some parts that I thought were important (seismic, deep fdn, anchors) and index for helping me in searching during exam. I would also suggest carrying certain parts of OSHA manual...

I would suggest School of PE notes, NCEES 2011 sample questions and some online available practise problems based on my experience. Construction AM part is 50% theory too (materials etc) so make sure you read the options two or three times before selecting.

The trick is in the type of foundation, if you use the shape factors you get 12,157psf vs if you donot use the shape factors you get 13,368psf. So be careful and read the question again and watch for key words.... I hope it helps.

I agree with Trussguy, the part where you need to be very careful for transpo AM is units and conversions... I suggest you look over NCEES sample AM problems!

I think no matter what afternoon portion you pick, you need to know all subjects for morning and I feel when you are preparing for AM, you would know which should be your PM section.
