It appears that NCEES has released results of the October 2011 PE exam to the boards, when does California expect to issue results?

... Their response

On Thu, Dec 15, 2011 at 10:01 AM:

Around the second week of January.

That’s messed up, it will take them 4 more weeks to release the results.

Maybe it takes 4 extra weeks to grade seismic and surveying for CA test takers! Just a thought. I "wish" they would release the 8 hour now If the results are released, and make us wait extra 4 weeks only for the other two exams!

i think last time they stuck to the answer of 10-12 weeks or whatever and then ended up releasing early. it's not worth your time talking to them. it's like their obligated to not update to a more accurate date.

When I checked a month or two ago, it was 78855, so there's one new one that showed up since then, either that or I screwed up when I originally checked.

California Sucks! We have to take extra exams, which do nothing for a civil license, and wait extra time because of the extra tests?? That we have to study extra crap for? We can't do any majoir seismic design or Surveying without being structural or Lsit certified anyways. And we had to spend a Thursday taking these exams

Suck on this!

The CA Oct 2010 PE results were released via MYNCEES on 29 Dec 2010 and then a letter was sent out mid Jan 2011. I suspect CA will do something similar this year. Wrote Mech T&F PE San Mateo Oct 2011

Wow, thanks for sharing that 822! Very shocking. Good for you 8 hour people. Slightly unfortunately, I am only waiting for Seismic so instead of Dec 19, looks like it's "by" Dec 30 for the state results. But, heck, Dec 30 sure beats mid Jan. Wow, I am excited. I'll be checking the CA PE registry every day. Good luck everyone.

This is from the exam release announcement page: http://www.pels.ca.g...11results.shtml

LICENSE LOOKUP DATABASE
The License Lookup database is updated once the data transfer between databases is complete. This process is beyond the control of the Board. DO NOT contact the Board asking when the database will be updated.

Sounds like it's a computer program that does the updating of the public database. Maybe the initial entry of new PE's is a manual process and then it is synch'd automatically on a schedule.

I "think" that simply means the results are to be released on the 19th. and the data base hasn't been updated past the 18th.

I suspect we see the results on NCEES website first, then the license look up will show a recent update of 19th. Just a guess

For the CA Oct 2010 FE exam, I got my NCESS email at 2pm CST. Maybe they will release at the same time today ie in an hour. This wait is killing me....For what it is worth-somebody on the FE Results side of this forum said the spoke to NCEES today about the CA results and NCEES said that they are having trouble with their computer systems and will most likely not be able to release today....????

for the April PE exam my email came at "Fri, Jun 10, 2011 at 2:53 PM"

that's PST. and if i remember correctly, the email showed a couple hours after people were posting that they were available already.

I hope this is not true but this is what someone said in the FE CA results thread:

Quote: "I just called NCEES and the woman I talked to said that she is doubtful that results will be released today!! She said they are having issues with their website so until the issues are resolved, the results will not be posted. She said it WILL be this week but doutful if its today! UGH! REALLY????"
