What section of electrical? I took in Miami too but in Electronic and also waiting like nobody else>

I got my SC results.
I passed!

You got your Oct 2010 test results already? Was it with NCEES?
I'm sure this goes on for every test administration. Just pay attention to the spreadsheet with release dates for each state. It will be very close to that.
I am. I'm in FL, we have average a faster return then the people posting above. Therefore I would anticipate the results for FL would post about the same time. I just don't know if the above posts were sent by NCEES or in another form.
Where in Fl did you take it? I took it in Orlando. I am expecting Dec 17 to be the release date and from NCEES.
I took it in Miami Dade ( Electrical), good luck.
Electrical (Power) , and I still waiting for my answer like everyone , good luck !

I am just commenting that I have nothing to comment about. So, no comment. Thank you, move along now

I'm praying for a Christmas Eve Miracle  . I think the IL board met on the 16th and one of the agenda items was a motion to accept the passing examines.

In IL the board acceptance really doesn't hold up anything. Their meetings don't always line up with results and it hasn't delayed the release in the past.

According to the agenda on the IDFPR website, there is no mention of any motions to accept NCEES scores. Only an update on the NCEES annual meeting and a waiver for seniors to take the FE at WIU before they get their ABET accreditation

I doubt they're coming out Christmas Eve, its a federal holiday and I'd think CTS is closed. Not that I'd be unhappy if they did. =)

Christmas Eve is not a federal paid holiday this year. For regular flex-off days that land on Christmas (which is a Friday this year) we are given off the following Monday. In practice though, the employee can take either the following Monday (27 Dec) or the previous business day (24 Dec) subject to supervisor approval. There will be federal employees working Christmas Eve. I don't know how the states administer employee leave, but I'm sure it's something similar.

For IL: When the holiday falls on Saturday, then Friday is off. When holiday falls on Sunday, then Monday is off. Christmas eve is not a state holiday, but they don't work this Friday because Christmas is Saturday. Confused yet?!?

:bananapowerslide:

what does federal or state holidays have to do with NCEES? NCEES people may not even have friday off. It will depend on how fast your state releases an e-mail once the results come in. Depending on the size of the state and the number of people processing the results, it can be done in minutes any day this week, who knows, they may have something set up between your state and NCEES that once the results come in, they are automatically forwarded to those of us waiting for results.

We're all obsessing over the result... checking every few minutes. Speculating the release date...

It occured to me that I am going to feel like crap when/if I get my results, and fail... I'm going to look back and think of all the time I obsessed about ultimately finding out that I have to do it all over again. That sucks :jerkit:

i didn't think about this at all over the weekend, or when i leave work. its the hours of staring at the computer that lead to my obsession with this thing...

Wouldn't it be great to be able to send your friends/family/co-workers/neighbors/etc a "happy holidays" email and include the passing results or maybe sign your name as John Doe, PE!!
