When do you become PE officially?

From the strictest standpoint, I'd say use the date on your Certificate - that's the day on which the State Board grants you the license.

yeah, not to be a buzzkill, but you're not a PE until you're licensed, even if you have passed the exam Congratulations anyways!

Colorado actually issues a "wallet card" that is the official license. It has your full name, address, license number, signature, & expiration date. Once you have this, it's official. The wall certificate is just for show and can't be used to demonstrate licensure.

Does anybody knows how long it takes to board to grant license after passign the test (are we talking about 12 weeks again or less)?

True. I got my results on June 16th (last year) and had my actual PE license on July 3rd. The wall certificate showed up about a month later.
