Nominee for understatement of the year:

The plant's report to the EPA said even a worst-case scenario wouldn't be that dire: There would be a 10-minute release of ammonia gas that wouldn't kill or injure anyone, the newspaper reported.

What happened Wednesday night was much worse.

Been to West probably more than 100x. It's a favorite place to stop on the way to Dallas. The really scary thing about this is that there plants like this all over the rural US.

I can practically throw a rock from my office and hit an ammonia plant. If I really threw hard, I'd hit the ethylene plant. We're all within the same fence line. hmy:
