Vehicle Components Engineer, Heavy Truck Applications
Skill Requirements - This position requires an engineering generalist performing specific projects • Work effort consists of evaluating, selecting, and applying standard engineering techniques, criteria and utilizing engineering judgment in making adoptions and modifications • After receiving instructions on specific assignments, utilize objectivity and present possible solutions to problems • Familiar with the industry and industry partnerships, customer products and processes and key supplier products and services • Responsible for creating tasks and charts, managing programs, projects, presentations and training • Responsible for customer relations with suppliers, dealers, and customers • Candidates should be self-starters and capable of performing tasks with minimal supervision.
Basic Requirements – Education required is a Bachelor of Science Technical degree and 3 years engineering experience; or a Master of Science Technical degree with thesis in core competency.
Preferred Experience – Heavy vehicle experience • extensive experience in electronic and semiconductor components and in component-to-system interactions.
