The UK operations have seen dramatic growth over the last 10 years, now employing over 500 people across 5 sites. To support with this continued expansion Michael Page are supporting Cott Beverages with the recruitment of a Maintenance Engineering Manager.


Job Description


Reporting into the Site Engineering Manager the role of Maintenance Engineering Manager for Cott Beverages based in Wrexham, will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Management of the front-line engineering team within the complexities of a matrix structure to ensure that they provide a comprehensive breakdown, planned/preventative maintenance and continuous improvement service to support the overall achievement of operational goals and targets
  
• To own and deliver the tactical engineering agenda, ensuring compliance to all internal processes and systems are adhered to
  
• Responsibility for developing and delivering a constantly evolving high quality engineering maintenance plan that drives performance improvement
  
• Ensure the timely resolution of equipment failure to allow high quality root cause analysis and the elimination of recurrent issues on the line
  
• Promote and support the company quality & safety standards, focusing on continuous improvement whilst contributing to the companies strategy, and demonstrating the company values and behaviours
  
• To support the delivery of projects ensuring that new equipment integrated into the maintenance strategy
  
• Ensure the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) is maintained to a high degree of accuracy to grow an understanding of full asset life-cycle costs
  
• To coach and develop the engineering team in regard to the use of the site CMMS
  

The Successful Applicant


To be considered for the role of Maintenance Engineering Manager with Cott Beverages you must be able to display the following:

• Have a recognised engineering qualification
  
• Previous experience of working within a similar FMCG manufacturing / factory engineering department
  
• Extensive knowledge and experience of operation's principles relating to production equipment
  
• Thorough understanding of maintenance philosophies and techniques coupled with the experience of best practice implementation of these principles
  
• Good knowledge of engineering principles and their practical application through industry standard generic components
  
• Strong interpersonal and developed communication skills - coaching & mentoring
  
• Decisive, pro-active, self-motivated and assertive
  
• Internal customer focus with the ability to adapt to the variable demands of the business
  
• Demonstrate working under initiative and think things through to solution
  
• Ability to work under own supervision
  
• Be able to influence, persuade and lead at all levels of the business
  
• IT literate - Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Good analytical and numeric ability
