Job Description
The Project Manager reports to the Business Unit General Manager and has full Profit and Loss responsibility for projects under their control. As an integral member of the Senior Management Team, the Project Manager has significant input to the Shared Strategic Plan of the Business Unit.

Main responsibilities of the role:
- Identify projects and tenders. Responsible for tenders until successful receipt of orders
- Oversee the successful delivery of profitable projects to scope, quality, programme and completion encompassing design, engineering, construction, handover and commercial aspects
- Implement a full risk and value engineering management process where all risks and cost savings opportunities are identified and actioned.
- Ensure that project imperatives are clearly communicated and understood throughout the project and to others, as appropriate
- Where on site work is required, responsibility for all safety, health, environment and quality matters
- Ability to develop solutions when dealing with customers restrictions in space I site issues
The Successful Applicant
The suitable Project Manager MUST have:
- Degree or HNC/HND qualified in Electrical engineering or equivalent technical discipline
- Experienced in the Design of Low Voltage Switchboards and Motor Control Centres.
- Proven experience of working with and managing projects within a range of industries from cradle to grave.
- Passion to take full responsibility and autonomy for projects, a solutions focussed approach
What's on Offer
£45,000 - £60,000 depending on experience + company car or car allowance, up to 5% matched pension, private medical cover, share scheme options, 22 days holiday + bank holidays
