I'll break it down here:

1. Make your own binder of notes because no 1 text book is going to cover everything you need.
   
2. Laminate those notes well to protect them from all the tears you are about to shed.
   

3.  Just kidding.  I did think the exam was very difficult but I did pass.  Here is how I did it.

What a fine coincidence that the person in your make-believe story that took your course passed and the other person in your make-believe story that didn't take your class failed the exam.
 

Almost like someone trying to sell the class wrote it.
