Question goes like this.

Air is flowing through a horizontal duct with a cross sectional area of 0.5m2 at a location along the length of the duct.

Cp=1000J/Kg.K

R=287J/KgK

K=1.4

If the air is slowed down adiabatically and reversibily from 150m/s and 300 K to 50m/s .

How to calculate the Temprature at 50m/s.

Thanks

P=row*Velocity^2

sp substitute that in the adiabatic euation

T2/T1 = (P2/P1)^(k-1/k)

row cancels out

T2/T1=(V2^2/V1^2)^(K-1/k)

row is the desity

Let me know if my solution is wrong.

Thanks
