You got a top. We have done this many times - built houses. My husband is an elec contractor and has been around construction all his life. I also was around construction because my dad was a gen contractor. We built our first house 22 years ago and lived in it for 18 years. We built one for my brother. We built the small one that we're in now and are building the new one. Most of it is just being familiar with how to do stuff and codes. One of the most fun things I ever did was designing the stairs that go to the attic over the big shop building.
