What is this christmas bonus of which you speak?

I know not many places give them any more. In fact, here they used to give them Every year at least a week before Christmas. Got everybody used to buying Christmas gifts with it. Until one year when they waited until after Christmas to issue them.

since then I have begun to save in advance. Coincidentally, they haven't issued a bonus before Christmas since either.
