I know this sounds crazy, but I went to DMV a couple of months before October 2013 exam because my picture did not look like me and they did not charge me for a new license and it only took about 15 miniutes.

I know this sounds crazy, but I went to DMV a couple of months before October 2013 exam because my picture did not look like me and they did not charge me for a new license and it only took about 15 miniutes.

just checked the dmv webcam, and the approx wait time. 47 mins!!!. the waiting area looks packed. a few months ago I needed to do some title and registration stuff for trailer and snogo, was in and out less than 10 mins. the wait time listed then was 7 mins. and like two people waiting.

^The DMV in Fairbanks is usually packed at the start of the month. I try to go mid month if I need to get in there. And never go around lunch time!

I just fill out a form and mail it in with supporting paperwork and they tell me, okay when you come back you need a new photo taken
