Fox, why do I always need to restart my wifi Router?
What brand is it and how old?
You could also try some of the suggestions I listed here.
It older then I want to admit. It's time for an upgrade.
I made some recommendations for NJ a while back and still stand by them.  That post starts here if you're curious.
I'll give that thread a look at. Have you used any of those routers with linux machines? Typically you can configure the router in a browser. So I don't see any issues with linux. Would you agree?

Correct. The router configuration will be independent of what operating system you use so long as you have a functioning web browser that can access the router directly (through TCP/IP). I can access my router just fine from any of my Linux boxes. :thumbs:
