Was working in Fairbanks until September, 13. Now living in Palmer, work in Anchorage.

The time difference can b fun sometimes, harder in others. Keep getting calls in early morning from east coast relatives. Easiest solution was to ignore the phone and return the favor after work. They call at more respectable hour now, lol

I have been to fairbanks a couple times. Once in the summer and once in the winter.

I would say I enjoyed the summer trip a lot better than the winter.

Its a great place. I miss Fairbanks and the -40 temps. It was a dry cold, much better than the wet cold in the current location.

Long summer days are hard to beat too!

And I'm making a cannonball run to Fbx this weekend, should be a good trip.

I HATE WHEN PEOPLE SCREW WITH MY DESIGN PAST THE 75% COMPLETE MARK!

Now my wind loads are all screwed up. Stupid unsymmetrical building.

Ah, the joys of working with Architects. I TRY not to let it bother me anymore, especially since I have more than one building that is under construction & they're still trying to change the design.

You'll get used to it (somewhat) & design accordingly.
