Not a structural Engineer, but the structure I am most in awe of is the Great Wall of China.  I've never been to it, but it just amazes me.

this one is pretty high on my list..

In this rapidly evolving world there are so many modern infrastructure have been constructed by our engineers. The most inspiring thing about the structures is the story and struggle behind its construction, which really intrgued me when I saw the documetory of the structure named as the Capital Gate.

I like the Brooklyn Bridge. It is composed of many "firsts" in bridge construction, and has an interesting story behind its engineering and construction. Plus it's still standing after being converted to handle 6 lanes of NY traffic. That's an engineering feat for something built in 1883.
