Out of college and up until a year and a half ago, I was a mechanical discipline engineer for a small consulting/engineering services firm dealing with refineries and chem plants throughout the TX gulf coast region. Company went down hill and I jumped ship.
Now work for a huge engineering services/consulting company on an alliance with a huge oil/gas/petrochem company. I'm a project engineer, and we work projects for the company's refinery, chem plant, and poly plant.
With either position I have been tasked with a wide array of job duties. Keeps me on my toes and there's always something new to learn.
