any idea or where I can buy pre-packed circuit project for 8-9 years (2nd and 3rd graders) for birthday goodies bag?

Hobby Lobby may have something. They have a section with small science projects etc. Another option is if there is a Hobbytown USA location near you. They have some things that may work for you.

thanks for the tips.a quick glance on Ramsey..they are pricey over my budget...rather to spend under $50 ..since there is 10 kids!

Actually...using pizza box build a simple light sensor resistor with LED and use paper clip and brad..use a 3V button battery..
