Engineers don't only drive trains.
Definitely too early. Last April's exam was on the 11th. I believe results in Arizona were post-marked around the 9th.
This year's April exam was on the 24th, so I would imagine it would be a couple more weeks before the heart-stopping email from NCEES arrives in your inbox.
