I got this from a SWE meeting last week. It is interesting to look through.

I would be surprised if their salary is anything less than $200k.Where are the lobbyists? I read a link somewhere that lists their salaries as high as 200k.
If you are looking for a higher paying job that has demand, pharmacist is a good choice. Especially with your Chem E background. My mom is a pharmacist and she basically is able to write her own paycheck.Yea I have some issues with this as well, when I was on a project drafters/designers were making more than engineers with there "80 hrs" a week although it still took them forever to get a P&ID done. Maybe I should become a pharmisist instead of getting a second degree in EE. Air traffic controler is right up there too which I would not mind doing but there are only so many control towers so im guessing that would be even harder to break into than engineering.
The training is quite difficult and expensive. I mean if you can hook onto the Air Force or Navy great, but not an easy gig to get.Airline pilots, co pilots, and flight engineers: $119,750
I wouldn't have guessed they were so near the top of the scale.
Yea, I have to see if the university near me has a good pharmisist school, I know they have a GREAT RN program so it would stand to reason that they would have a pharmacy school, I will have to check. EE would be fun but I dont think I would be in much of a different boat than I am now opprotunity and pay wise.If you are looking for a higher paying job that has demand, pharmacist is a good choice.
