Okay, so doctors make the most - I'm okay with that.

But look who's second ... @*&%$ lawyers. I hate @*&%$ lawyers. They should all be stoned (and not the Spicoli kind, where everything is funny and you get the munchies). :15:

Where are the lobbyists? I read a link somewhere that lists their salaries as high as 200k.

Airline pilots, co pilots, and flight engineers: $119,750

I wouldn't have guessed they were so near the top of the scale.

Certainly conflicts with the story about the crash a few months ago with the pilot who fell asleep after being overworked and grossly underpaid.

Yea I have some issues with this as well, when I was on a project drafters/designers were making more than engineers with there "80 hrs" a week although it still took them forever to get a P&ID done. Maybe I should become a pharmisist instead of getting a second degree in EE. Air traffic controler is right up there too which I would not mind doing but there are only so many control towers so im guessing that would be even harder to break into than engineering.

If you are looking for a higher paying job that has demand, pharmacist is a good choice. Especially with your Chem E background. My mom is a pharmacist and she basically is able to write her own paycheck.

The training is quite difficult and expensive. I mean if you can hook onto the Air Force or Navy great, but not an easy gig to get.

And talk about paying your due's. If you don't have a strong Military background you will be flying puddle jumpers from Witchita Falls to Ft Worth for many a year before you get to fly the big jets. Smaller the plane = smaller the paycheck.

But the Pilots also have a union.

Yea, I have to see if the university near me has a good pharmisist school, I know they have a GREAT RN program so it would stand to reason that they would have a pharmacy school, I will have to check. EE would be fun but I dont think I would be in much of a different boat than I am now opprotunity and pay wise.
