When I step outside my back door about 20 feet in front of me is a very tall 8ft high x 24ft wide inside curve retaining wall on top of that is a concrete drain running on top and then through the fence all the way to my neighbors and then the next. to the left of my backyard fence is the steps that lead you up to the top with about where there is a sloped hillside going about 30 ft back on the left side and then goes into a peak and then fence runs to the right with about 20 ft wide. The peak at the corner of my property fence sits about 6ft above the resting wall. Now my question is if I remove starting 3 ft away from my middle point some dirt to make a 8x8 pad which I would need to remove the dirt and make a small 3ft additional retaining wall in place of the removed dirt will that mess with the integrity of the large retaining wall.
