the following is the mail from the mailing list that someone here suggested. it's for texas PE. Lance is with TBPE. Next week is probably going to be THE WEEK.

Here is a message that we are sending out today for those that took

the Petroleum PE exam. We just found out about the delay ourselves.

As for others, we have not heard a specific date for the grades, but

we're hoping for next week. Note the word 'hope' though....

-------

We know you are anxious to know the results of the recent PE exam that

you took in October. Our exam administrator, NCEES, is in the process

of grading the engineering exams and releasing the results. We were

recently notified by NCEES that the scores for the Petroleum

discipline will not be available until late January 2008 at best. If

you are receiving this email, our records reflect that this email

address is associated with a person who registered to take the October

2007 Petroleum exam and will be impacted by this delay.

This exam discipline requires cut-score studies to be completed before

the scores can be released. The cut-score workshop for the Petroleum

exam is currently set for January 15-16, 2008. When additional

information is available, you will be notified through this email

address.

Be assured that we will release the results of this exam as soon as

possible after the completion of the cut-score workshops. We

understand that you need to receive these scores as soon as possible

and we will do everything within our power to expedite the process as

much as we possibly can.

We wish you and your families a very happy and safe holiday season.

Sincerely,

The Texas Board of Professional Engineers
