I got the first performance bonus for my engineering group for my company (Worldcom leftovers) that they have given out since the colapse in 2001. $158 in the company store, or some sorta gift card like Starbucks or VISA. I think I am going with the VISA.

That PE license and Grad School is PAYING OFF!!!! :eek:ld-025: :p10940623:

Damn. It sounds like a Dilbert's comic strip I read once. Go for the VISA.

Sorry my friend

That is just the mini bonus that is rare. The real bonus that everyone gets is around 10% sometime around the first of March. We got our first one of those this past Febuary.

BTW, I am sure we have Dilbert spies at our work that have been submitting cartoons for commisions. We have had too many things happen that turn into cartoons a few weeks later.

Classic! I'd go for the VISA too. I still have a whole toolbox full of Craftsman tools from my oilfield days. The company I worked for would give Sears gift certificates to us for every quarter we worked without an accident or injury. I thought it was cheesy at first, but over time I guess it paid off. Of course, I have to leave them in the states because they were too heavy to ship, but my Dad enjoys them.

What? No jelly of the month club?

Be happy...working for the state you get :dunno:

You're on your way to owning that beach house now!!!! I guess it is better than what I'll get this year???

The higher-ups in my company get 25 - 50% of their annual salary based on goals that they create for themselves. Engineers, of course, are not included in the bonus-eligible group.
