Has anyone used the PE Readiness course endorsed by the NSPE? If so what did you think? Any tips?

I am going through the Electrical Review now. It has not been updated to reflect the changes in the test from 2009. It contains references from 1993 and 1999 also. That concerns me. That is why I am emailing my test advisor.

I've got a professor assisting me as test advisor. He's been some help so far. You have to pursue their help on your own.

It's pricey....$400. We'll see.

Good luck.

  • Don't waste your money. It's a ripoff!!!!! I did back in 2010. The material was based upon the old version of the test and the advisor assigned to me refused to give me much information on the new version. One tip he gave me was to google the subject. Not worth it at all. Loan books from the local or university library. Google the topics. Study the NEC. Use engineerboards extensively.
