You can blame management. This board was begun by a core group who started it after getting fed up with the poorly run message board they used to have on the ppi2pass.com site. As the site grew...a lot...it became more than a few Engineers could, or wanted to, handle. New owners up and took over thinking they could make money, hence all the ads. The new owners did a very bad job of administering the site, and when confronted by long time users who also contributed a lot of content, they were promptly banned.

This board used to be a great source of information for all things concerning Engineering and the Engineering exams. I am also happy to say that it has generated friendships that have been going on for years, and in some case decades. Fortunately for these people, we have found other avenues to keep in touch. Unfortunately for EB.com, this board is now at the mercy of an owner/admin whose sole purpose is generating income.

Sad that this has happened. I can't imagine the sponsers are happy? It's almost a waste of money to support the site now.

Agreed. Loved the anticipating exam results release threads but not much of those these days. Here I am sitting and waiting for CA Seismic results to be released. Last test for the license.
