It’s not lunchtime yet and Mr. Leggo and I celebrated 9 years together with dinner out last night, so I didn’t have leftover to bring. All to say, I made myself 1.5 pb&j sandwiches using blackberry jam and I’m very excited for my rather mundane lunch!

Thanks!! It’s not our wedding anniversary. Just 9 years together, since the first night we meant. I did get the question last night of how much longer we needed to celebrate both that anniversary and our wedding anniversary, and I said hey, it’s only two nice dinners a year and plus they’re nicely spaced out (by 5 months) so it’s not like they’re close to each other on the calendar! Hah.

Yes I think it’s so great to celebrate both!!! I think it makes sense to celebrate anniversary of when you first started dating because that’s how long you’ve been together in reality.

My husband and I made our wedding date one day before our first date date (our first date date would have been thanksgiving day, so that’s why we had to do wedding the day before). It makes it easy to remember anniversaries but it would be nice to be able to get 2 nice dinners instead of 1 haha. I can never remember how long we’ve been together or married when people ask though. I remember the year we got together, and the year we got married, so I always have to count how many years it’s been. Silly brain.

Also, I put 9 spams on there for each year you’ve been together!!!
