Yeah...it's pretty much killing me to know that my results are probably sitting in the mailbox atm. While I am sitting here at work. I went home at lunch time and the mail didn't run yet.

The Mississippi state board has updated their website with the new PEs from the October exam (I passed!!) but we use snail mail and I'm not sure if anyone has actually received their letters because I'm out of town right now. Congrats to those who passed!

Georgia is not slower than Tennessee (which, while north of Georgia, is also in the South). Only California and Iowa historically take longer than Tennessee.

TN results were mailed last week (see TN results thread) and some have already received their pass/fail letters as of 12/31/10. So yes, GA is slower than TN. After speaking with someone in the GA SOS office on Firday, it appears since they are closed Monday it will be at least Tuesday, probably even later in the week before anyone in GA gets their results. I was told 5 or more business days to validate the results.

Congrats TN!

Wow. Yet, somehow I'm not surprised. Georgia has always been somewhat dysfunctional, considering that they already made most of us drive all the way out of the Macon when I imagine that the majority of us work somewhere around Atlanta.

Congrats TN!

If you read the TN thread closer, you'll see that the TN SOS office stated the "results will be mailed the week of January 4th," which unless you have a time machine, hasn't gotten here yet.

Also, the person who posted, saying they passed, finally responded to a question... They were talking about the FE exam. The Tennessee FE exam results were apparently mailed toward the end of last week.

Georgia may end up being the slowest in the South, but they aren't there yet. And Georgia STILL can't have the Tennessee River either, no matter what their dopey Legislature says. :)
