I'm not sure I'm even going to believe legitimate NCEES results, at this point... I'll just look at my dashboard and say, "Nah, they're just trolling. Still in exam results purgatory."

you got it back? where was it
Since I had to fly to my testing site, I didn't want to have to carry my books through the airports again on the way home. I almost had to check them when I got on the first airplane heading to the site. I walked on the plane and one of the flight attendants was like, "They let you on here with those??? They're not going to fit." Luckily my seat was by the wing and there wasn't a seat in front of me, so they fit. Next plane they actually fit in the overhead compartment.

Since I took the exam with a buddy of mine and he drove to the site, I left them with him after the exam. Luckily I did, because I was sprinting through the Atl airport to catch my connecting flight since my first flight was delayed. I picked them up from him over the Thanksgiving weekend.

Good plan. I won't be, just because there are too many opportunities for sarcasm and other reactionary comedy, but it's not a bad idea.

:respect:   :waitwall:
I made a grand plan to log off during December until results are released...but I've gotta burn up this nervous energy. Comedy in the face of tragedy...

so far I've cursed:

1. my high school alma mater

2. my college alma mater

3. two professional organizations

....for sending me emails today.

Double post - my life is hell.  All the bridesmaids have decided we're going to lose weight for the wedding.

Is it bad that I just want to keep on the work-out road I'm currently on and see if I can keep kinda losing weight?
Keep on doing your plan! If it works for you, why change it?

Got married 6 years ago. The time leading up to the wedding is a time to enjoy. Stay on your path and keep to your own plan. You can't control what they do. It's better to go into the big day happy and healthy more than anything. My default was to exercise too much but I had to minimize alterations to my gown so I had to chill and exercise like usual. I was much more focused on maintaining my relationship with my future husband, and getting all of the other stuff done. Keep your sanity.

Adulty topic: budgets, specifically food budgets.

This is the year I actually budget. Because I live in a 600 sq ft house and have an awful driveway so I'd like to be able to buy something larger in 2-3 years. And the So. ME housing market is awful.

So I'm thinking 400$/mo for 2 adults is reasonable? I'm going to be buy less red meat from the grocery store and switch to buying local. I'm also going to cut down on how much I buy/cook. Eventually, I'll make the transition for poultry as well. But I want to buy more local produce as well - not everything is possible as Boyfriend loves grapes and I'm fairly certain I've never seen them at the farmers market.

I'll be tracking it for the next few months to see whats what.

What do you spend? on how many? Where? Do you prioritize local?
Ohhh interesting! I spend what I consider to be toooo much on groceries for two people per month. I think I'm more in the $650/month spent on groceries range. I think I need to be more intentional on what I'm spending money on.

I shop pretty much exclusively at Trader Joe's and order additional produce through Imperfect Foods, and also occasionally shop at Safeway, for things like specific paper products, cream cheese, and of TJ's doesn't have something specific I'm looking for (like whole wheat pasta).

Speaking of paper products, I'm thinking about divesting our household of paper towels. Does anyone do this? What kind of towels do you use in place, if so?
