So they lied!

results don't get released to the states all at the same time. They come out in batches. NCEES doesn't post that message until results were released to all of the state boards - which can take a couple days (recently) or a couple weeks (5+ years ago). Not all states release immediately after getting results from NCEES.

I'm kind of having fun with it... But all the while knowing that we could get results anywhere between December 3rd and February 3rd.  :woot:

So NCEES releases the results to the states. Some states have NCEES notify you of your results (so you get an email). And other states notify you themselves or use PCS (iirc).

It varies by state. There have been cases where the NCEES site did not update before the state boards informed the appropriate parties of their receipt of license.

Correct. It has happened before.
