Best way to handle taking the PE in October/waiting for results: aggressively start baking or getting prepared for the holidays or letting work run you ragged (you log that 65+ hour work week).  Then when you open the results on the subway, and burst into tears because you failed, you can blame it on work stress and ignore the people edging away from you as you approach the next stop!  (this is totally not based on rl circumstances, I have no idea what you're implying).
I guess it doesn't help I hardly have enough work to keep myself busy for 40 hours 😬

Seems normal.

I've been thinking about writing a reference book & study material for future PE:power test-takers in my spare time.

The electrical exams go to CBT in 2021... But hey, if that helps you burn off stress, then by all means.  :D

One of my coworkers asked me why I hadn't burned my references, yet. I told him that wasn't a bad idea, but it would have to wait until I passed.  :Locolaugh:
Dude, I kept my references and I use them every once in a while.  One of the enviro books I bought for the exam actually has a ton of treatment methodologies for different contaminants, and it did help me a lot when I was doing remediation.  Now...I'm not doing that, but still interesting to read.

Yeah, I'm not planning on actually burning anything... and this coworker actually stands to inherit at least some of my reference material for when he takes the exam, so he should probably encourage me to keep it.

I won't be burning mine - I passing some of them off to a coworker.

I *did* move them from the basement to our home office last night. They're still in the box/bag tho. Not unpacking them yet.
