I am in the process of submitting my application to NY State to be license by Comity. I am currently licensed in NJ. I sent in the application and had NCEES send over all my records as well. You can also include a form that states you will be practicing in NY while the application is under review (Form 5). This form says I need to submit Form 3 which verifies out of state licensure but NCEES record transmittal should take care of that I imagine.
My question is for people who went through this did you need to have Form 5 sent in order to practice while the application is under review? Also to what extent can I practice while under review?
I know, I know...just call the board but it's the weekend and I'm curious!
Also $175 to NCEES and another $377 to NY State for this, what a money grab!
