Passed the April '07 exam, finally got my wall cert on Friday.

Wow, that seems like a pretty long delay. Do you have to order one after you get your results?

I've debated ordering a wall certificate. I still don't have my degree framed, so the likelihood I'll do anything with a PE certificate is pretty slim.

You don't need to order it, in the past they had a ceremony around the time of the next exam where they would present you the wall cert... no ceremony this time, just snail mail... Thankfully my license got to me much quicker (pass letter at the end of June, license active as of 8/24, received a week a later in the mail).

Oh yeah.... it looks nice hanging on the wall in my office! I took down the generic company project photo and gifted that to my electrical guy who had nothing 'company approved' to hang in his office.

I just got a call that my cert/calculator/NCEES pencil is done. Might take off a little early and go pick it up this afternon.

My diplomas, both of them are still in themailers they came in. I guess I'll frame those, too, but I'll probably use frams from Michaels or the Hobby Lobby.

So they are just slow to deliver then. I have to order mine and I haven't done that yet. It's a simple one page form and another $25. I'm sure I'll order it at some point, the form is sitting here on my desk, I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I've got mine framed on the wall here. I didn't have to order anything special, the price of the certificate was included in the registration fee.

I passed the Oct '07 exam. Does anyone know how long until i get my license #? Im not sure if NJ is just taking their time or if i did not full all the necessary criteria.

If my timeline is any help:

Passed April '07 exam:

Passing letter received 6/27

License activated on 8/24 (2 weeks after getting license activation form and needing to send more money)

Physical license received 8/28

Wall cert: 2/8
