I agree! Especially that licensing information are public...anyone can connect to a state's website, get a randon name, and get the license number (and address, etc.)I ordered my seal from www.engineerseals.com on Friday and received yesterday (Wednesday). The only thing that concerns me is that the only pieces of information that I needed to fill out from this website was my name and license number. What's the stop any average joe from ordering an engineer seal with someone else's information?
It's not illegal to possess the seal, it's only illegal to use the seal if you are not authorized to do so.I agree! Also, Anyone who received their license in the mail....Did you notice that it expires April 30 of this year? We obviously don't have and can't accumulate the CEU's in time for renewal. Anyone know what they are going to do. I was going to call the state today and try and get a answer.
For my sprinkler license, they just gave me the few extra months instead of having me renew in 3 months.
