Job Description


Details of the responsibilities of the Product Engineer at Cinch will include;

  • Ensure that products are manufactured correctly, cost effectively and delivered on time in accordance to customer build specification and quality requirements.
  • Lead any and all compliance tasks that are needed for ongoing projects.
  • Have a good knowledge of the team and companies capabilities, in order to present them to potential customers. The ability to interface with customers is crucial to the role.
  • To be the technical face of the group to the factory, existing & potential new customers.
  • Assist the Operations & General Managers with identifying new potential projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of BOM structure and change control processes.
  • Prove BOM and manufacturing processes prior to transferring to production.
  • Proficient in MS Office for day to day interface with the global team.
  • Support on AutoCAD & Creo tasks when required.
  • Ability to lead the resolution of technical / manufacturing issues without detailed direction, as part of the team.
  • Capability to accurately and efficiently work on multiple projects.
  • Work with other product engineers, as well as the Operations Manager to ensure all project needs are planned and can be met.
  • National and International travel to represent the company.

It is expected that the Product Engineer will be able to represent significant Electronics experience with a related qualification at degree level most suitably.
