Has anyone taken the new depth only exam for electrical engineering? How was it? How different was it from the breadth and depth if anyone has taken the two?

I know its a total of 80 questions for a specific electrical engineering discipline but are we only given 4 hours to work on the first 40 questions and another 4 hours for the second 40 questions or do we have the entire 8 hours to go back and forth for all 80 questions?

Thanks for anyones input.

Unfortunately, I've taken both (power). It was different from breadth/depth in that the power questions (I thought) were a little harder, and obviously more of them. The NCEES questions were very similar to the exam. I liked the depth/depth better because there weren't any of those questions from the morning that I had no clue on.

Studying was a lot better for the depth/depth too.

It's the same format as before - you get a morning and afternoon test booklet and only 4 hours to complete each. No going back and forth between the questions.

Good luck!

I'm on my fourth try of the test and the splitting up of the exam actually made it easier in my opinion. My first three attempts were at the Power afternoon but this time, Spring exam, I went back to my strong suit of Computers/Networks.
