I have a random NEC question

what is the VA requirements for lighting a 50FT x 25FT parking lot?

Question is not frame properly.

For parking lot lighting may be you want to know, how much lighting is required as per IES (Illuminating Engineering Society of North America) guideline.

Your question is how much power is needed. That depends on how much lighting in foot candles is required.

From amount of lighting required, you have to design lighting, how many fixtures, their wattage, how highs are lighting poles. From this you calculate power needed.

^+1, sc57 is correct. NEC doesn't give any specific VA requirements. You'd want to check out IESNA.
