I *was* planning to take it when I was working in the pump controls and industrial automation biz. But once I got the gov't job I dropped it and decided to take Civil because in public works, Civil is king. Also, Civils (at least in California) can stamp mechanical and electrical drawings, too (as long as they pertain to the project).
