MARYLAND - RESULTS

i am an EIT failer. Failed EIT so many times that this time in April 2009, i have been approved for PE exam based on work. I can not sleep in home, I can not concentrate in work in office. I am really getting crazy not having the result in the box.

Even today, I have not received anything in the mail. Tomorrow Friday I will leave early for NY along with family. That means nutil sunday I will have no way knowing that i have failed or pass.

This is really hard.

Are they going to put the names in the web ? :sharkattack:

I'm still trying to get a question answered on whether or not I can take the exam in another state or if I'll have to wait two years in any case. Maryland law is that you must sit out for two years before taking the exam again, but I'm trying to circumvent this by taking the exam for the fourth time in another state (since it's state law and not an NCEES rule). I'm inching ever so close to what I believe would theoretically be passing, I can't imagine losing the little bit of information that I've retained AND holding up my professional endeavors for two more years.

Yes They will update the website tomorrow (Friday). But most of us should also receive letter by Friday... Good luck.

if you have eit, then there is no problem. in other state you will be a first timer. apply in anywhere and proctor the exam in md. i know you can appear in different state.

Looks like pass rate for MD PE is 41%

I just took the passed list (132), and divided by the approved list (321)

I saw a post that said October MD PE pass rate was 37%, but I didn't check this myself.

I have passed the PE after failing EIT 100 times.

jh - probably depends on the state, but I don't see why not. DE doesn't know how many times you took it in MD. I know many here in Harford Co. take their test in DE. And fwiw, I did not make it this time either (my second). Will try again in Oct. And realize its not the end of the world. That's in 1,259 days, according to the Mayan calendar. Best of Luck. I was just looking to see if you passed? i have been looking for one of my coworkers to let him know when the results are posted. I'm hoping no news is good news for you.

I'm going to be sitting in the spring for my PE missed the stinking submittal deadline by 3 days to apply.

something similar, but not the same, happened to me.

Make sure the drop down menu says "PE" not "EIT". Mine defaulted back to EIT somehow?

I'm sure it was PE. Strange though. I get "PE066 Our records indicate that you already have a license on file." error message.

I guess I have to call them to find out.

Oh, the application by commity process sucks big time for DC and Virginia. I can't believe all the paper work again. Sigh.
