Does anyone know where I can look up info on general site grading? I have been asked to complete some grading plans for residential lots. I have seen 100s of them and am familiar with the slopes and grading types, but not where to get the regulations.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

It all depends on where you are doing the work. I would begin by checking for the local stormwater ordinance and local village/city codes for where the lot is located. All muncipalities look and ask for different things. Hope that helps!

I have done them but never really checked regualtions before to be honest, I would imagine that a good place to start would be the county permit office for where your doing the work

Scottie....I know you're in FL, tell me where the work is being performed and I should be able to help. All you should really be doing is setting the finish floor elevation and corner lot elevations and then calling each lot out as a Type A, B, of C graded lot. I can email you the detail for those grading types if needed.
