Does any one know if foot candle standard tables by IES are needed for the test.

A question could be....

Per IES what is the minimum FC levels required for an inactive Warehouse?

a) 5 fc

b)15 fc

c) 20 fc

d) 30 fc

Answer is A....per IES lighting handbook This building is Category B and minimum lighting for category B is 5 FC and maximum of 10 fc

I doubt you would find that on the exam. I think it would be spelled out in the exam specs if a specific code is fair game. The exam spec mentions the NEC and NESC so those are to be expected. The rest of the problems come down to knowledge and methods of analysis that are not dependent on any one individual published standard.

Agreed with Flyer

You may have calculations on how to calculate light levels though.
