I am a actively recruiting for the following:
Facility Condition Assessment Engineer
Position Description and Duties:
This position will provide professional investigations of buildings and systems, identifies significant deficiencies, and recommends corrective measures.
This position may be required to develop preventative maintenance schedule recommendations for the various infrastructure systems throughout the facility, prepare Property Condition Assessment Reports. Plan and execute site observations of all building types and systems, prepare and review reports for clients, prepare a report describing the observations and opinions as to current condition of components along with approximated replacement costs.
This position provides technical advice and resolve problems for staff and client.
Travel, as required, to facility locations. (Aprox. 50% travel)
• A broad knowledge and familiarity with various engineering disciplines and some architecture would be extremely beneficial to the success in this position.
• Previous military service is a plus, but not a requirement.
• Previous engineering work in military installations is a HUGE benefit, but not a requirement.
• Previous knowledge or utilization of Oracle or Access databases is a plus
• We would prefer a PE certification/license. However, we are willing to consider individuals who have extensive experience without the certification or are working to complete the certification.
MUST HAVE:
• A clean criminal history
• A bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or structural engineering (or VERY SIMILAR DISCIPLINE)
• The ability to pass a drug screen
• A VERY STRONG GRASP OF THE EXCEL PROGRAM
• A STRONG ABILITY TO PRESENT INFORMATION TO FACILITIES ADMINISTRATORS AND UPPER MANAGEMENT
