• Champion the Plant’s “High Performance maintenance Plan.”

Mid to Senior Level Environmental Scientist
Location: Oahu, Hawaii
This position will assist in a wide range of project management and team support roles including: data compilation, environmental analysis, permit applications, and preparation of plans and reports in support of various environmental compliance activities at commercial/industrial sites, fuels infrastructure sites, and DoD installations.
Education: Bachelor's, Master’s or Doctorate degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, Chemistry or a similar field. Minimum of 8 years work experience required.
Required Skills and Experience: Experience in Environmental Initiatives (CAA, CWA, EPA, RCRA, EPCRA & CERCLA a plus), Pollution Prevention, and Hazardous Materials Management. The Technical Services Manager also will provide direct supervision to three Process Engineers and one Quality Manager. The position will be the technical resource for the plant in areas of process specifications, plant operations, production line support, raw materials, and process development. This position requires troubleshooting and leadership ability aimed at resolving equipment issues and improving the plant's financial performance. This person must possess a strong bias for action and commitment to work as one of a team. This individual and / or his / her direct reports will also write operational procedures that detail equipment set-up, operation, maintenance, etc. This individual must have an advanced knowledge of SPC, DOE (MVT), and systematic problem solving skills while employing Six Sigma and / or Qual Pro methodologies.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
