Is TX PE transferable to VA

Hi,

I am planning to take PE exam in Texas. As I need to work in Texas and Virginia, if I pass PE in TX, can i transfer to VA also. Suggestions please.

You can not transfer any license between states. However you can apply to the other state and if you meet their requirements they can grant you license in their state without retaking the exam. You can get more information at the VA state board.

 
Most states will grant a PE license by comity. Once you recieve your TX PE, you'll need to fill out an application with the VA licensing board and then pay dues in both states to keep your license in good standing.
