Colleagues-- The attached link is for REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERS ONLY to provide input to the Industrial Engineering PAKS Task Force Review. As you may know, each PE exam is reviewed and rewritten every 6-8 years to insure that the examination is not only current, but tests the current relevancy of the material that a new engineer 4-6 years since graduation should know and be able to perform.
This survey has to have over 200 inputs by REGISTED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERS to maintain statistical validity. I am asking those REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERS to please help our committee by completing the survey. YOU DO NOT, repeat DO NOT have to be an INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER in order to complete the survey. YOU DO HAVE TO BE A REGISTERED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER, irrespective of discipline to complete the survey.
The engineering examination PAKS review process has been very interesting to date-- I am sure that we will see and learn a lot more down the road.
If you are interested in helping the profession and making sure that we are testing the right concepts for the INDUSTRIAL discipline, please complete the survey if you are a currently licensed professional engineer.
