Hi guys,
I just want to get your opinion on IEEE reference books - do you guys think it's absolutely necessary to get the latest edition/year of an IEEE book if you plan to use it for a reference?
While I was doing questions from the Cram for the PE Exam Volume 3, one of the solutions referenced IEEE 998 as a good reference for lightning.
The latest IEEE 998 from what I see is the 2012 edition, which I don't have access to. However, I am able to get the older 1996 edition.
Do you guys think the older 1996 edition will be sufficient for the PE power exam?
Thank you for any input you have on this!
