How Long EIT Certificate

Does anyone know how long CA takes to give an EIT certificate. I passed the FE. Then all the paperwork, (fingerprinting now), and check was sent in. The check was cashed almost three months ago and still nothing. My last correspondance with the state was on September 2 (over 4 weeks ago) and they said i should be getting it soon. Should i keep waiting?

Mine is particularly long..

In fact I never got my certificate. I forgot or didn't care back then. Best advice is to call the board.

You might check the CA Professional Registration lookup and see if your name is there. Every state is different and some list the EIT certification, some don't.
